Planning your 6-Pack Abs Diet

6-pack abs diets can go two ways: severely depriving yourself of certain foods hence, certain nutrients with frequent pangs of hunger to burn fat deposits OR sustaining eating 3 meals and more per day but planning wisely the foods you eat throughout the course of your day. I say, choose the latter to develop a powerful 6-pack abs diet.

For a smart six pack abs diet, here are a few suggested food options to take per meal:

Breakfast- jumpstart your metabolism by getting protein enriched eggs. And to keep you fuller through the morning, try a bowl of porridge or low sugar oatmeal. It's also possible to have rye or wheat bread as an alternative to flour bread with natural peanut butter. Choose skim as opposed to regular milk to go with your breakfast. For better digestion, have a small cup of plain yogurt.

Lunch- for lunch, you can have healthy brown rice and sustain your protein intake with skinless white chicken or fish like sardines or wild salmon and add fiber enriched vegetables as sidings. Have a cup of green tea after to aid break down fat. Steer clear of fizzy drinks.

Dinner- the last meal also needs to be the lightest. Hence, you can go for salad with low fat mayonnaise or sandwich, rather than consuming another rice meal. Alternatively, you can have pasta but avoid the creamy white sauce and make use of extra virgin olive oil. Take a few sips of healthy red wine to boost the flavour of your pasta.

Snacks- your 6-pack abs diet is incomplete without considering your snacks. As you need to limit the amount of food intake within your 3 main courses, having snacks in between keeps you from going hungry as most crash diets would do. Almonds, cheese, or pure whey protein might be part of your healthy snacks. All throughout, remember to hydrate yourself with water or sport drinks, particularly during workouts.

Make an effort to limit going for sweets after mealtimes. If you have a sweet tooth, satisfy it by consuming low sugar fruits and keeping away from cakes and pies full of sugar.
